Oh SNAP, I finally (attempted) to make another tutorial for you guys and gals! I decided to use my MELODRAMATIC PANIC lineart because 1. it wasn't already colored and 2. it seemed like it would be pretty easy for me to use as an example. Also, the program I used from start to finish for this pic was Adobe Illustrator CS but the process can pretty much be used in any program that has layers.
BE NICE ABOUT IT...I'm not one that usually likes to do tutorials since people always complain about something when I try 'em!
Hope you like it and tell me what ya think of it! ...and please DON'T tell me if there's a spelling error! D:
P.S. I only did the face because I'm lazy. <3
PLEASE COMMENT SO I'LL KNOW IF I SHOULD EVER DO ANOTHER TUTORIAL OR NOT!
when you start doing the shading, how did you get the shadows to be so perfect when following the stroke? is there some trick you can do with the paths so none of the coloring goes outside of the lines, or do u just outline that well?
I'd just used the pen tool make a shape of the shadow then once you close it click nside of it and click fill path choose your color then after you are done click on it again and select delete path
