Oh SNAP, I finally (attempted) to make another tutorial for you guys and gals! :ohnoes: I decided to use my MELODRAMATIC PANIC lineart because 1. it wasn't already colored and 2. it seemed like it would be pretty easy for me to use as an example. Also, the program I used from start to finish for this pic was Adobe Illustrator CS but the process can pretty much be used in any program that has layers.

BE NICE ABOUT IT...I'm not one that usually likes to do tutorials since people always complain about something when I try 'em!

Hope you like it and tell me what ya think of it! ...and please DON'T tell me if there's a spelling error! D:

P.S. I only did the face because I'm lazy. <3

PLEASE COMMENT SO I'LL KNOW IF I SHOULD EVER DO ANOTHER TUTORIAL OR NOT!

nice celshading tut. :] tho i thnk people have more problem with softshading than celshading. >.> *looks thru tut section of DA*

i thnk ur way of celshading's kewl. : D its hard for me to stick to only one layer. o.o;;;

do one more with another lesson.

you should do a soft-shading tutorial in Illustrator. This one was good, but could be a bit longer.

The thing is I have no idea how to teach drawing since I kinda just bump along until I get something I like. XD

Well I'm not that good at soft shading in Illustrator except for accents (like blushes) I mean, looking though my gallery that's pretty much obvious. ^^; And I kept it short since I just wanted it to be easier to follow not to mention it's just the very basics of cell-shading. Thanks though.
